Zodiac: Are the Mayans right about 2012?

Sony Pictures has added to the fear that the world is suddenly going to end with their new film 2012. By the look of the movie trailers, they script is written so that the world is going to destroy itself on this particular astrological year. Life as we know it will decease.
Is the astrology correct? In two short years, is our planet going to destroy itself and start anew? Many religious, scientific, and spiritual leaders have been debating this these Mayan findings for years.
Personally, I think that the astrological year 2012 will not be a destruction of our planet but a step towards a new way of thinking. Our society will start changing its ways as a whole to a thought of a world community.
How many advertisements have you seen of Barack Obama asking you to be involved in your community? How many celebrities have flashed websites across your television screens urging you to be apart of a team. How many churches are now preaching about love?
If you have been watching the religions of the world, our leaders, and people who have influence on the world, they have already started taking steps towards a world community before our famous astrological date.
I’ve especially seen it in the churches where Pastors are no longer preaching on prosperity in grand churches but are taking it to streets. The ministries are beginning to pop up at local parks and city corners.
The change towards becoming a community is great news. I have always felt that the people of our world have always been my brothers and sisters. The big question is why? What is happening skyward that would cause a change like this?
The Age of Aquarius
Every 2,150 years, Astrologers believe that our world enters a new age. We currently are in the age of Pisces. In 2012 we will be moving into the Age of Aquarius. Many Astrologers and Esoteric Christians believe that we will move into a new heave and new earth. This will be a dawning of time when materialistic ideas will be put away and changed.
There’s a famous song from The 5th Deminisions speaks sings about the Age of Aquarius and though I can speculate what will happen in the future. I do hope that that many are correct and we are moving into an age of greater peace, love and understanding.
